COVID- 19

Things are changing so quickly, but as of this week here’s how Palmer Street Press is operating.
Palmer Street Press Cards will still be available where you normally find them - directly through our website and on Amazon.
ALL Orders will be packed and fulfilled from our studio in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our warehouses across the country are shut down or operating with a skeleton crew. We’re unable to replenish inventory to warehouses for the foreseeable future. (It’s a good thing! #stayhome) It does mean that instead of 2-3 day shipping, it’ll likely be 3-4 days, especially for those on the West Coast. USPS will be coming every second day for contactless pickup and will get your orders on their way to you.
As with anything being delivered to your home, we recommend being extra careful. Remove the cards from their shipping box and cello bag, and and place them in a contained area for at least 24 hours. The virus can reportedly live on paper and cardboard, and while risk of contagion from surfaces is exceptionally low, just give your cards a little time-out before sending. Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after handling deliveries to your home.
When sending cards to loved ones, instead of licking and sticking the envelope closed, use a damp sponge or cloth to wet the seal. (A little makeup pad works great!)
We’d love to hear from you. Stationery seems so frivolous in these crazy times, but really important life events and social gatherings went up in smoke, seemingly overnight. How are you adapting these events, and are there any stationery goods that would help you to adapt? Postponement notes? Virtual baby shower invitations? We’re all ears.
Please let us know if there are any charitable or non-profit organizations in your community that would find greeting cards helpful during this time. We’re more than happy to send card care packages to groups that are supporting the most heroic and vulnerable among us during this crisis.
Stay safe, Stay healthy. Stay home.
